TULSA, Oklahoma -- After serving a season as an Executive Advisor to the Oral Roberts basketball team, it was announced Monday that Sean Sutton has been promoted to a full-time assistant to the Golden Eagle's basketball team.

"We are excited to add Sean to our staff in a full time capacity," Scott Sutton said in a press release. "He brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience to our program and I look forward to the opportunity to continue to work with him."

Sean Sutton served as the head coach for the Oklahoma State Cowboys from 2006-2008, amassing a 39-29 record overall, after spending 13 seasons as an assistant with father Eddie Sutton. In 2005 he was named the Recruiter of the Year by Rivals.com for wrangling No. 1 prospect Gerald Green and the nation's top recruiting class.

He replaces Chris Crutchfield, who accepted a similar position with the Oklahoma Sooners.
