New Tulsa Restaurant Nixes Grand Opening For Joplin Benefit

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A brand new downtown restaurant is hoping a taste of Tulsa will help the tornado victims in Joplin.

Instead of a simple grand opening, Back Alley Blues and Barbecue held a benefit Friday night, raising money for Red Cross relief efforts.

Back Alley is owned by the same folks behind Joe Momma's Pizza.

The death toll from the May 22, 2011 deadly tornado stands at 154.
