TULSA, Oklahoma – Fans attending the Talons' football game on Saturday night certainly got their money's worth.
Tulsa outscored the Utah Blaze 81-51 at the BOK Center in the highest-scoring game of the AFL season so far.
The 81 points are also the highest total for the Tulsa Talons since joining the AFL.
Ironically, Tulsa achieved its final point total with about 10 minutes remaining in the game, but called off the dogs instead of potentially topping the 100-point mark.
J.C. Neal scored Tulsa's final points of the night with his second pick-six of the game.
Former Sooner Jamar Ransom had a big play in the game with a fumble recovery in the third quarter, which he returned for a score to put the Talons up 61-39 at the time.
The Talons will hit the road to take on the Philadelphia Soul at 6:05 p.m. on June 17.
