Water Main Break Impacts Tulsa Customers Along 31st Street

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A water main break near the Tulsa Public Schools' Education Service Center has caused the center to close for the day on Monday.

The broken line is a 24-inch water main near 31st and New Haven.

City of Tulsa officials say the break has been closed off and customers in the area could see a slight decrease in water pressure as crews begin the work to repair the line.

Crews area also trying to determine why some nearby water customers are without water pressure.

There is no timetable of when the break will be fixed.
