Broken Arrow Police Search For Violent Robber

BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- Police in Broken Arrow are looking for a man who beat a convenience store clerk Sunday night.

Officers say the man went into the Peeps store near 71st Street and Midway Road around 10 p.m. Police released surveillance video from inside the store.

Police say the female clerk originally opened the cash drawer but then closed it. That's when the suspect started beating her.

The clerk was able to escape and lock herself in an office. The suspect managed to grab some cash and run out the door.
