Tulo...CHANGE YOUR TUNE!

I'm a little late on this but I've been tied up with some TU football and other stuff. Finally! I can rant about foolish music choices: We know how good Troy Tulowitzki is. He was here in Tulsa with the Drillers and is an all star third baseman for the Colorado Rockies, but the dude needs better taste in music.

Before the season began, the Denver Post (I believe) put up a poll on its website asking fans to vote on what his walk up music should be.You know, the song that plays when the batter walks to the plate. The fans selected KATY PERRY'S "FIREWORK" as Tulo's tune.You've got to be kidding.

Sure, it's kinda catchy, but for a baseball player's intro there has to be a better choice. Tulo thought so too. He was in a horrible slump with that song blaring to start the season. How could he concentrate?That music will make you ears bleed. So, he changed it. To JUSTIN BIEBER.

By the way, it's incredibly sad that when you type in the word, "Justin," Bieber shows up before Justin Timberlake in a Google search. Sad,really. Compare the two. Its not close.

Anyway, Tulo switches from "Firework" to "Baby" by Biebs,and blasts a home run in his first game! You know how superstitious baseball dudes are. So he's keeping it! He's currently hitting .333 with 5 homers and 12RBIs in his team's first ten games. He's on pace for 81 homers and 194 RBIs with BIEBER!!!!!

COME ON, TULO!!! Are you that selfish? Should Rockies fans have to suffer through "BAAAABY, BAAAABY, BAAABY, OOOOOOOOOOH" every time you walk to the plate JUST so you can set MLB records!? No way! That's uncalled for. Switch to something manlier! Come on! How about "Welcome to the Jungle' by Guns N Roses. Or "Paradise City?" How about ANYTHING ELSE BESIDES BIEBER!?!!? I would like to ask what song would YOU choose to walk up to the plate with? Me? "Jesus Freak" by DC Talk. Love it.
