I don't like the teams coming to the BOK Center I LOVE them!
I assumed Kansas and Texas were locks to make it to Tulsa for the second and third rounds of the NCAA tournament. But, the committee hit the nail on the head with the other six teams.
Memphis is coming to Tulsa. Very smart to bring in a ConferenceUSA school here, especially one that draws well.
Oakland is coming. They are in Oral Roberts' conference and have a definite chance to upset Texas in their first game.
UNLV, Illinois, Arizona and Bradley are also coming to town. This year's field will have some great match ups in this city alone. Forget the rest of the nation. If you want to see some great hoops, buy a plane ticket toTulsa.
Outside of the tournament here in town: I'm very surprised that UAB got in, especially after losing in their first game of the C-USA tournament to ECU. I also thought thatColorado was a lock to get in. They did not. The Big East got 11 in? Maybe too many There are plenty of exciting teams outside of that conference that was worthy of getting in (and I graduated from a Big East school).
Happy brackets!
