I wish to congratulate Ray Allen on becoming the NBAs all-time three-point king.  But I guess I never realized what a list of non-stars he heads. Ill give you Allen, Reggie Miller and Dale Ellis.  All three had long careers, shot nearly 40-percent from three-point range and were considered one of the top two or three marksmen of their day. But the list is pretty void of any starpower after that.  No Bird. No Price. No Kerr, No Hodges. No Nash (hes 13th).  The NBA adopted the three-point line for the 1979-80 season, Birds first in the league. Heck, Jason Kidd is number 3 on the all-time list.  And hes shot less than 35 percent from behind the arc for his career. The top 50 includes such luminaries as Cutino Mobley, Stephen Jackson and Quentin Richardson.  Not exactly a whos who of respected riflemen. Allens feat is a testament to his endurance and conditioning.  And for that he should be celebrated.
