IRVING, Texas- The Big 12 Conference and ESPN have announced that a second Oklahoma State football game has been added to the 2011 television lineup.
Oklahoma State will travel to Iowa State for a Friday night showdown on November 18 that will be televised on ESPN2.
"We're excited that our football program has elevated to the point that Oklahoma State is now appearing regularly in prime-time windows with great national exposure," said head coach Mike Gundy.
This year’s Friday name in Ames marks the third Friday night game in five seasons, but it will be the Cowboy’s first-ever Friday night conference game.
The annual Bedlam matchup between Oklahoma State and Oklahoma will also be televised. The December 3 rivalry clash will be televised by ABC or ESPN.
This season the Cowboys will play six home games as it is the first year for the new Big 12 conference that consists of 10 teams. OSU will have five conference road games and four at home.
Tuesday, the Big 12 conference also announced that Baylor’s September 2 matchup against TCU will be televised on ESPN at 7 p.m.
Also over Labor Day weekend, the Texas A&M and SMU matchup will be televised by FSN September 4 at 6:30 p.m. CST.
The complete Big 12 television lineup for the first three weeks of the season, and additional non-Saturday games will be announced in the coming weeks.
