OU’s Morrison to Transfer at Semester

NORMAN, Okla.—University of Oklahoma walk-on guard Kodi Morrison will transfer at the end of the spring semester.

OU head coach Sherri Coale made the announcement Tuesday saying Morrison is expected to be offered a full ride at Division II East Central University in Ada.

"Her commitment and willingness to do whatever was asked, I think is very rare," Coale said. "We're excited she has this fantastic opportunity to play on a full scholarship."

Morrison, a sophomore from Seminole, joined the Sooners in January 2010. She averaged 1.4 points and 91 percent shooting from the free throw line in 18 games over the past two seasons.
