Tulsa Drillers Shut Out 6-0 by San Antonio
The Drillers fell 6-0 against the Missions Tuesday in the third game of a three-game series.

TULSA, Okla. -- The Tulsa Drillers fell to 3-2 on the season Tuesday after the San Antonio Missions shut them out 6-0.
The Drillers’ bats were silenced against the Missions’ pitching, led by Anthony Bass (2-0) who threw 5.2 innings. He allowed four hits while striking out seven Tulsa batters. Only two hits were allowed in the remainder of the game, as San Antonio used four additional pitchers to get the win.
Juan Nicasio finished with the loss after throwing 5.0 innings. He allowed three hits while striking out six batters.
The Missions got one hit in the top of the fifth, and one in the top of the sixth. Vincent Belnome got a hit to center field, reaching first. He was hit home off a single by Sawyer Carroll on the next at-bat for San Antonio’s first run. In the top of the sixth, Daniel Robertson hit a triple to center field and was hit home by a single by Beamer Weems.
The Missions added two more runs in the top of the eighth after Jaff Decker hit a two-run homer. Two RBI in the top of the ninth sealed the Drillers’ fate and clinched the shutout for the Missions.
