CHICAGO – OSU basketball signee LeBryan Nash won the 2011 McDonald’s All-American Powerade Jam Fest on Monday night with an array of impressive dunks.
Nash is actually the second Oklahoma State commitment to win the contest. Gerald Green won it in 2005 but declared for the NBA draft straight out of high school rather than attending OSU.
Nash is ranked as the No. 4 player nationally by recruiting service Rivals.com.
He made it out of the first round of the dunk contest in fourth place behind Duke signees Marshall Plumlee and Austin Rivers and UNC signee P.J. Hairston.
For his final dunk, Nash sported a big, orange foam cowboy hat and threw down a windmill dunk, giving him the title.
Nash will participate in the McDonald’s All-American game on Wednesday night in Chicago.
He is one of just two commitments for the 2011 OSU recruiting class, along with point guard Cezar Guerrero.
