Cowgirls Notch Two Wins Sunday
Oklahoma State beat both South Florida and Florida Gulf Coast Saturday, as part of the USF The Game Tournament.

CLEARWATER, Florida -- Oklahoma State notched two more wins on their season Saturday, beating both South Florida and Florida Gulf Coast.
The No. 20 Cowgirls overwhelmed FGCU 10-1, run-ruling the Eagles in five innings. OSU scored five runs in the first inning, tacking on an additional five runs in the fourth. Morgan Hawkins finished with the win for the Cowgirls after throwing 3.0 innings, giving up two hits and striking out three batters.
In the Cowgirls’ second game of the day, OSU fell behind early when South Florida’s Stephanie Medina hit a three-run homer in the first inning. Oklahoma State battled back, putting up two runs by the end of the third inning, but South Florida noticed an additional two runs to bring the score to 5-2. The Cowgirls went on a run in the top of the fourth, putting up six runs off five hits, holding the Bulls scoreless for the remainder of the game.
The Cowgirls will face Rutgers at 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
