ORU to face SMU in CollegeInsider.com Tournament

TULSA – The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles will head to SMU for the first round of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament.

The game is set for 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Moody Colisuem in Dallas.

Oral Roberts finished second in both the regular season standings and Summit League tournament.

The Golden Eagles are playing in a postseason tournament for the fifth time in the past seven years. They made the NCAA tournament for three straight years in 2006-08.

SMU competed in Conference USA and finished seventh in the standings, falling to Rice in their opening game of the C-USA tournament.

The CIT features 24 teams and play begins on Monday. The final game for the tournament is March 30.
