TULSA, Oklahoma -- Freshman Jordan Clarkson and sophomore Scottie Haralson were recognized by the Conference USA Tuesday.
Clarkson averaged 11.2 in his first season, earning him a spot on C-USA’s All-Freshman team. The San Antonio native averaged almost 25 minutes per game this season, in which he recorded two assists and 1.9 rebounds per contest. He scored a career-high 20 points in TU’s 65-53 win over Stanford and shot 79.6 percent from the charity line.
Haralson was named C-USA Newcomer of the Year after averaging 11.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. Haralson began his college career at the University of Connecticut, but transferred after averaging just 4.1 minutes per game his freshman year.
