Tulsa's Jordan Clarkson Named Freshman of The Week

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa guard Jordan Clarkson earned the C-USA Freshman of the Week honors for his performances in wins over Rice and Southern Methodist to close the regular season.

The freshman from San Antonio, Texas scored a combined 30 points in the wins over the Owls and the Mustangs, including 15 in the second half of the win over SMU.

This marks the fourth Freshman of the Week Award for Clarkson this season.

The wins helped the Golden Hurricane earn the No. 2 spot in the C-USA Tournament, which will tip off for Tulsa at 8 p.m. Thursday.
