Oklahoma State Women Can't Hang on against A&M
Cowgirls led against No. 5 Aggies, but fell 76-67.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Oklahoma State hung tough on the road, but fell to No. 5 Texas A&M 76-67 on Saturday.
The beginning looked ugly for the Cowgirls, but they managed to claw their way back into the game.
A jumper from Danielle Adams gave the Aggies a commanding 25-9 lead 10 minutes into the game.
Oklahoma State chipped away at the lead and trailed by seven at the half. But the Cowgirls busted out of the gate on a mission in the second.
OSU had a quick 7-0 run to start the second tie the game at 36. The Cowgirls managed to take their first lead of the ballgame on a free throw from Vicky McIntyre, putting OSU ahead 51-50 with 8:46 to go.
The teams remained locked at 54, but Texas A&M used an explosive 11-0 run to take control of the game for good.
Forward Toni Young led the Cowgirls with 23 points and 17 rebounds, and Tiffany Bias played all 40 minutes and scored 20 points.
Oklahoma State actually shot a significantly better percentage than the Aggies (47 to 36 percent) but OSU gave A&M plenty of opportunities to make up for it. A&M racked up 18 offensive rebounds and cashed in on 23 OSU turnovers.
The loss is the second straight for the Cowgirls, who are now 3-8 in conference (15-9 overall).
Texas A&M improved to 21-3 (9-2) with the win.
Oklahoma State will return to action at home against Kansas on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
