TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Golden Hurricane picked up another defensive end when Hennessey’s Derrick Luetjen singed Monday.
The 6’3’’ powerhouse has not only been recognized for his stats -- having picked up 107 tackles, 12 saves, 14 stops for lost yards and three forced fumbles in his senior year -- but the TU coaching staff also saw great leadership potential in Leutjen.
He’s all of 270 pounds and runs a 40 in 4.8. Initially, he considered Louisiana-Monroe, but chose the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
