TULSA, Oklahoma – With less than 2 weeks until National Signing Day, the good news keeps rolling in for the University of Tulsa.
Oklahoma Sports has been contacting Tulsa recruits to see if they are still committed to TU. And on Thursday, we heard back from two of them.
Gilmer (TX) running back Gus Johnson committed to the Golden Hurricane in July. Oklahoma Sports has received an email from Johnson’s coach that says he is “still committed” to Tulsa.
Joining Johnson on the committed list is Tidehaven (El Maton, TX) tight end Colt Clontz. The 6’8”, 220 pound TE made his initial commitment to Tulsa back in April. On Thursday, his high school coach sent us an email that said, “He [Colt] is excited about attending Tulsa and is definitely signing with Tulsa.”
National signing day is on February 2nd and Oklahoma Sports will keep you updated as we hear back from other recruits.
