EULESS, Texas -- Euless Trinity star Brandon Carter announced Tuesday that has switched his verbal commitment from the Oklahoma Sooners to the TCU Horned Frogs.
The 5-foot 11-inch, 160-pound dual-threat quarterback led the Trinity Trojans to a Texas Class 5A State Semifinal appearance and a 15-1 record.
Any commitment before signing day is non-binding and without Carter, the Sooners have the No. 9 recruiting class in the nation – the sixth consecutive year with a Top 15 class.
The three-star athlete will join Del City’s Chazten Gonzalez and Jamelle Naff in the Horned Frogs’ 24th-ranked recruiting class.
