STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Three Oklahoma State players are scheduled to play in upcoming senior showcase games at the end of January.
Running back Kendall Hunter will play in the Senior Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 29, while kicker Dan Bailey and linebacker Orie Lemon will participate in the East-West Shrine game on Saturday, Jan. 22.
After four seasons in Stillwater, Hunter finishes fourth on the school’s all-time rushing list with 4,181 yards with 37 rushing touchdowns. Hunter was a two-time consensus All-American and also received academic all-Big 12 honors, proving he got it done both on and off the field.
In his final season at OSU, Bailey claimed the Lou Groza Award as the nation’s top kicker and was named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year. The former walk-on finishes as Oklahoma State’s all-time leading scorer with 370 points in his four-year career.
Lemon was a tackling machine in his senior season at Oklahoma State, finishing third in the nation in solo tackles with 101 and 12th in the country in total tackles with 133 – the highest total by a Cowboy in 15 seasons. The former quarterback also became the Cowboys’ first all-conference linebacker since Terrence Robinson in 2003.
Both games will be televised on the NFL Network.
