STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys have added another mid-year player to their roster after Maurice Hayes transferred to OSU.
The junior moved from Bakersfield Community College in California, where he earned two All-Northern Conference honors by California Community College Athletic Association. The 6-4, 315 pound defensive tackle led his team to the semifinals of the 2009 playoffs.
In his senior year of high school, Hayes recorded 48 tackles, 12 of which were for loss.
He joins defensive end Ryan Robinson, offensive lineman Michael Bowie, linebacker Kris Catlin, offensive lineman Travis Cross and quarterback J.W. Walsh as January enrollees at OSU.
