Thunder Reassigns Aldrich to Tulsa 66ers

OKLAHOMA CITY—The Oklahoma City Thunder announced it has assigned center Cole Aldrich to the Tulsa 66ers for the second time this season.

The rookie was originally assigned to the 66ers NBA Development league Nov. 24 before he was recalled by the Thunder Dec. 6.

Aldrich will join the 66ers in their matchup Wednesday against the Austin (Texas) Toros.

In his first assignment with the Tulsa 66ers, Aldrich started in five games and averaged 7.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 27.4 minutes per game.

Aldrich has appeared in seven games for Oklahoma City this season averaging 1.0 point and 1.9 rebounds in 7.9 minutes per contest.

The Tulsa 66ers are 8-6 so far this season, and beat the Toros last time they faced each other in early December by a final of 94-83.
