Oral Roberts’ Last-Ditch Effort Falls Short
The Golden Eagles fell to the IPFW Mastodons, despite a 10-point rally late in the game.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles were narrowly edged out on their home court Tuesday when rival IPFW escaped with a three-point win.
The ORU loss came after a 10-point rally in the final minutes of the game. Despite the last-ditch effort of two jumpers, two pair of free throws and a layup, a forced foul cost and two failed attempts at three’s cost the Golden Eagles the chance to tie the game.
Oral Roberts’ Dominique Morrison led all scorers with 24 points, while teammate Steven Roundtree added 14 points and six rebounds. Damen Bell-Holter scored 11, while Ken Holdman finished with 10.
The Golden Eagles next host Oakland on Dec. 30 at 7:05 p.m.
