OKLAHOMA CITY--With the fiesta bowl just over one week away, the Sooners continue their preparation for the UConn Huskies.
Even though they will take a short break for the holiday before taking off for Glendale, in the mean time, the Sonners are not taking UConn, the reigning Big East Champions lightly.
One of OU challenges comes in slowing down the Huskie offense.
UConn running back Jordan Todman has 302 carries for 1,574 yards this season and once he gets north and south can be very dangerous.
Overall, UConn is 31st in the FBS in rushing and the OU defense must step up and wrap up when it comes to tackles in order to slow the Huskies.
Sooner defensive back Jonathan Nelson talked about what Oklahoma will look to do against the Huskies.
The 2011 Fiesta Bowl from Glendale Arizona will kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT.
