TULSA, Oklahoma—While the University of Tulsa football team is in Hawaii, the thirteen seniors on the squad are also preparing for what will be their last college football game.

“These guys have meant an awful lot to me, they are a very, very special group?they’ve accomplished an awful lot,” said head coach Todd Graham.

This group of thirteen seniors has much to celebrate.

“It will hit us after the game, said Coach Graham. “This senior bunch is really, really special and what these guys have gone through, it’s not easy, it’s difficult to do what these guys have done.”

Not only is this senior class the second winningest class in school history, but they have also been to a bowl game three out of the last four years and enters the Hawaii Bowl with a 35-17 overall record.

“Nobody wants to win on a loss,” said senior linebacker Tanner Antle. “It’s also a win to make it another double digit win season which I don’t want to accept anything less than 10 wins.”

Tulsa is set to face the 10-3 University of Hawaii Warriors Sunday inside Aloha Stadium in Honolulu Hawaii.

The matchup should be excellent. Both teams are 3-2 in its past five bowl appearance.

Both have potent offenses and great secondaries, while they both rank in the top seven nationally in turnover margin.

Hawaii is ranked in the Top 25 nationally and the Warrior’s 10-win season this year made it the sixth ever in school history.

On the flip side Tulsa ranks No. 5 in the country in total offense and has four players with at least 333 rushing yards this season.

Regardless of the score at the end of the game this group of seniors has everything to be proud of for four great years as Golden Hurricane.

“I know this, I am going to leave everything I have on the field,” said Antle.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT on Christmas Eve.
