Thunder Fan Drains Half Court Shot

OKC fan won $20,000 between quarters of the Thunder's win against Cleveland on Sunday.

OKLAHOMA CITY – If the Thunder players’ exciting dunks and impressive shooting against Cleveland weren’t already enough, fans got even more for their money during a timeout.

Robert Yanders, a contestant in a MidFirst Bank promotion, drained a half court shot between the first and second quarters of the Thunder’s win against the Cavs on Sunday.

Yanders won $20,000 for the shot, which went straight in without even hitting the backboard.

He was the first winner in the three seasons that MidFirst has been doing the contest.

Thunder players also had something to celebrate, they went on to win the game 106-77.
