NORMAN, Oklahoma -- After reports surfaced Monday that Kevin Wilson was set to be the next head coach at Indiana, Indianapolis Star Hoosiers insider Terry Hutchens reported that Kevin Wilson will be named the Hoosiers’ head coachTuesday.

Indiana University has scheduled a press conference for 3 p.m. CT to announce the new head coach and you can watch it live on Oklahoma Sports

Wilson flew to Indianapolis for an interview Monday and rumors quickly began to swirl that the Sooners’ offensive coordinator would be leaving to take the head spot at Indiana.

Wilson will become the Hoosiers' sixth coach since 1996.

The move comes less than two weeks after athletic director Fred Glass fired Bill Lynch, who posted losing records in each of his last three seasons in Bloomington and won only three Big Ten games over the same three-year span.

He has been with Oklahoma since 2002 and was named the co-offensive coordinator for the 2005 season.
