Murray injured his knee against Oklahoma State, but took part in practice Thursday.

DeMarco Murray Expected to Play Saturday

NORMAN, Oklahoma – Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops said after practice Thursday that he expects injured running back DeMarco Murray to play in Saturday’s Big 12 Championship.

Murray sustained a knee injury late in the Sooners’ last victory against Oklahoma State, but was able to take part in Thursday’s practice.

Murray has a history of late-season injuries, and if he does play Saturday it will be the first time in his career he has been healthy enough to play in the conference championship game.
