STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Time is ticking as fans gear up for Bedlam in Stillwater. The excitement is growing as one of the biggest Bedlam games in years will take center stage bright and early Saturday.
“Get here as early, we early as we can get ourselves to wake up, and I guess fight our way into the crowd and try to get there as soon as possible,” said Oklahoma State fan Brad Hood.
The Hoods, like many football fans, are hoping to stand on the sideline of the stage to show their orange pride before the Bedlam bonanza.
“We watch Game Day every Saturday morning religiously, right in front of the TV and love the guys and love the reporting that they do,” Cowboys fan Richard Hood said. “To be a part of it is really going to be special.”
Chris Norris is ready for Game Day. He's been doing this for 25 years and said this is the year for OSU.
“We’re favored to win,” Norris said. “Great coach, good team, we’re ready to go.”
There's no telling how many people will pack the campus but there is no question Norris will be cheering on his Cowboys this Bedlam weekend.
“This isn’t a ‘I hope we’ll win.’ This is going to be an ‘expect to win’ and that’s a huge difference,” Norris said. “It’s a lot different mindset we’ve had in the past.”
Crews will be working throughout the night to get everything ready in time for Game Day Saturday, which starts at 8 a.m. for those who want to be on live TV. OSU is favored to win.
