OKC Thunder Waives Carter and Longar

The Oklahoma City Thunder waived Demond “Tweety” Carter and Longar Longar reducing the roster to 17.

OKLAHOMA CITY--The Oklahoma City Thunder Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti announced Friday the team has waived guard Demond “Tweety” Carter and center Longar Longar.

Carter saw action in one game this preseason for Oklahoma City, averaging 4.0 points and 1.0 steal in 4.0 minutes of action.

Longar appeared in one game for the Thunder.

Oklahoma City’s roster now stands at 17.

The Thunder return to action Monday Oct. 18 in San Antonio against the Spurs at 7:30 p.m.
