Sooners Named Tostitos Fiesta Bowl Team of the Week

DALLAS -- The Football Writers Association of America has voted the Oklahoma Sooners’ the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl as their team of the week after their 47-17 win over the Florida State Seminoles.

The blowout win beat FCS James Madison’s 21-16 win over Virginia Tech and Kansas’ upset win over the Georgia Tech Saturday.

Sophomore quarterback Landry Jones racked up 380 yards and four touchdowns against the Seminoles, while Ryan Broyles caught 12 passes for 125 yards and a score.
