OU Running Back Roy Finch Could Miss 6-8 Weeks

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- The preseason injury bug continues to plague the Oklahoma Sooners as freshman running back Roy Finch has been sidelined for up to eight weeks with a hairline fracture in his left ankle.

The injury occurred during a scrimmage a week ago, but was initially thought to be just an ankle sprain.

Finch was contending with Mossis Madu for playing time behind starter DeMarco Murray and is still expected to play after his ankle is healed.
