OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Thunder announced its 2010-11 schedule on Tuesday. The Thunder will tip off the season at home against Derrick Rose the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday, October 27 at the Ford Center.
The Thunder will participate in two marquee games, which were announced by the NBA last week. The Denver Nuggets will travel to Oklahoma City on Christmas Day and, for the second straight year, the Thunder will play on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, heading to Los Angeles to face Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.
In addition, Oklahoma City is scheduled to make 15 appearances on national television.
Weekends will feature plenty of action at the Ford Center. The Thunder will play 22 home games that fall on either a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
