SEATTLE -- Calling Tulsa’s August 3rd victory against the Seattle Storm a fluke might be a bit harsh.

But two completely different teams took the court Saturday night in a 111-65 Seattle victory over the Shock.

Tulsa was on the receiving end of yet another WNBA record – this time for largest margin of victory (46 points). The previous mark went to Houston, which beat Washington by 45 in the WNBA’s second season in 1998. The Shock gave up WNBA records to Phoenix earlier this year for most points in a half and points in a quarter.

Seattle posted some of the more ridiculous statistical advantages in WNBA history, outrebounding Tulsa 57-21. The Shock only had six assists in the game to the Storm’s 24.

Tulsa shot 20-of-65 (30 percent) from the floor in the loss. Guard Ivory Latta led the Shock with 14 points. Center Chante Black, with 12 points, was the only other Tulsa player in double figures.

The Storm put the game out of reach early, starting with a 13-0 run and a 28-9 first quarter lead.

The Shock (5-24) have five days off to regroup before heading to San Antonio to take on the Silver Stars at 7 p.m. on Friday.
