OSU Free Safety Victor Johnson Arrested

Johnson is expected to contend for the Cowboys' starting free safety spot.

An Oklahoma State spokesman confirmed that Cowboy free safety Victor Johnson was arrested early Saturday morning on a complaint of obstructing an OSU police officer.

OSU police searched Johnson's on-campus apartment, and the University spokesman said a possession of marijuana charge against Johnson is expected.

The spokesman says Cowboys' head coach Mike Gundy and his staff are "looking into it," but have no comment at this time.

Gundy is scheduled to be in Irving, Texas for Big 12 Media Days on Tuesday.
