MEMPHIS, Tennessee -- The Tulsa football team is looking forward to starting the new decade after ending the last one with its worst season in six years. The Golden Hurricane suffered through its longest losing streak (6) since 2002, and missed its first bowl game since 2004. Head coach Todd Graham is eager to leave to past behind.

“Last year was a humbling year for us,” Graham said at the Conference USA media day. “We’re looking forward to the football season and getting back to the winning ways we’ve been accustomed to.”

The Golden Hurricane has undergone changes especially on the sideline. Tulsa replaced its offensive line coach less than two weeks before the start of fall camp. The Golden Hurricane also hired a new offensive coordinator.

Tulsa opens the season with a trip to North Carolina September 5.
