TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Tulsa Drilllers held off Arkansas for a 6-5 win over the Travelers Saturday. Colorado Rockies All-Star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki had a double, but it was his only hit of the game. Tulowitzki is on an injury rehab assignment for the Rockies.
Keil Roling hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the second to give Tulsa a 2-1 lead. Wilin Rosario blasted a two-run shot to right-center field in the bottom of the sixth to give the Drillers a 4-1 lead. Roling would drive in a run and cross the plate in the bottom of the seventh.
Nick Gorneault started the Arkansas rally in the seventh inning with a solo homer. The Travelers would score two runs in the eighth to cut their deficit to 6-4.
Ryan Mount continued the comeback with a solo home run to lead-off the top of the ninth. But Drillers' reliever Stu Pomerantz was able to prevent further damage getting three straight outs to end the game.
Cory Riordan (5-4) gave up two earned runs in seven innings to gain the victory.
Michael Anton (4-7) was tagged with the loss after allowing six earned runs in seven innings.
The two teams continue their series at 6:05 p.m. Sunday.
