OKLAHOMA CITY -- Former OU All-American Gerald McCoy signed autographs, took pictures and kissed babies Thursday in Oklahoma City to help raise money for March of Dimes.

McCoy, a defensive tackle and third overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft, spends considerable time in helping others. Farmer’s Insurance sponsored the event with all proceeds going to March of Dimes of Oklahoma. Farmer’s has raised over $130,000 so far this year for the March of Dimes, and on “Be a Hero for Baby’s Day” McCoy teamed with them to the national total of money raised since June 1 to some $2.5 million.

Oklahoma Sports’s Oklahoma City Sports Director Dean Blevins sat down with the newest member of the struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers to discuss a wide-ranging number of topics. Tune in to Sunday’s “Blitz” for parts of Dean’s interview with Gerald.
