Tulsa Drillers Slip Past San Antonio

Tulsa manage a late run for its sixth win in its last seven games.

SAN ANTONIO -- Kiel Roling was responsible for both Tulsa runs in the Drillers 2-1 victory over San Antonio Monday.

Roling hit a double to right in the ninth inning with the game tied 1-1. He was able to score on the next play on an error by Missions’ first baseman Matt Clark.

Roling hit an RBI single in the top of the fourth to give the Drillers a 1-0 lead. He finished two-for-four with an RBI and a run scored.

Matt Clark hit a solo homer in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game 1-1.

Andy Graham (4-2) gained the win after pitching a scoreless eighth inning. Starter Cory Riordan gave up one earned run in six innings but was hit with a no-decision.

Bryan Oland (1-4) was tagged with the loss after giving up one run in two innings of work.

The two teams conclude their series with a day game at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday.
