TULSA, Oklahoma -- Twenty-seven unanswered points propelled the Tulsa Talons to a record-setting 29 point, 74-45 win over the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings Saturday.

The win marked only the second time this season that the Talons have won back-to-back games.

Tulsa took a three-point lead into the locker room at halftime, but the defense answered the bell in the third. Bossier-Shreveport was unable to score in the third, while the Talons’ offense scored four times to take a 61-31 lead after three quarters.

The Battle Wings outscored Tulsa 14-13 in the third quarter, but couldn’t overcome the 30-point deficit to extend their losing streak to five games.

Justin Allgood led the Talons’ offensive onslaught with seven touchdowns and amassed 223 yards in the win. He connected with Donovan Morgan nine times for 180 yards and five touchdowns. Bossier-Shreveport’s Jimmy Welker passed for 239 yards and four touchdowns in the loss.
