TULSA, Oklahoma – In a season full of accomplishments, Tulsa Talons’ quarterback Justin Allgood picked up another personal accolade this week. The Arena Football League named Allgood its Russell Athletic offensive player of the week after his performance against Dallas last Friday.
Allgood threw for a season-high 384 passing yards and eight touchdowns in a 69-51 road win against the Vigilantes. He was deadly accurate, completing 25-of-37 passes.
Allgood set the franchise records for career touchdown passes and total passing yards earlier this year. He leads the AFL with 70 touchdown passes this season, one better than Milwaukee starter, Chris Greisen.
Against Dallas, Allgood threw touchdown passes to three different Talons, including five to Donovan Morgan.
The Talons wrap up a two-game road trip this weekend against the Spokane Shock. That game time is set for 9 p.m.
