NEW YORK -- Tulsa Shock guard Alexis Hornbuckle was suspended for two games Wednesday after pleading guilty to a charge of driving while impaired by alcohol.
The incident took place last year in Detroit, when the Shock was still playing in Auburn Hills, Michigan as the Detroit Shock.
Hornbuckle, who averages 22.6 minutes per game for Tulsa, will miss Friday’s game against Minnesota and will be unable to travel with the team to Chicago for Saturday’s matchup.
