STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State snapped a three-game losing streak with a 14-3 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff Tuesday.
The Cowboys’ (29-23) offensive flurry got started early; Luis Uribe knocked a two-run home run to left field in the third at-bat of the game. Two at-bats later, Mark Ginther hit another home run to left field to take the 3-0 lead.
In the bottom of the fourth, Davis Duren hit an RBI double to right to bring Dean Green home. Two at-bats later, Uribe added another RBI with a single up the middle to score Duren and take a 5-0 lead.
Already up 6-0, OSU added eight runs in the sixth, seventh and eighth innings, including a solo home run by Dusty Harvard and three RBIs by Ginther.
Thomas Keeling (3-6) was credited with a win for the game after giving up just two hits and no earned runs while striking out nine in his seven innings of service. The Golden Lions (18-31) got five innings of service from Joe Cook (4-6), who gave up eight hits and five earned runs in the loss.
Oklahoma State will close out the series with Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 4 p.m. Wednesday before traveling to Waco to take on the Baylor Bears.
