Joe Castiglione Discusses Big 12 Realignment

In an exclusive interview with Oklahoma Sports, the OU Athletics Director discussed all of the details that go into the possible restructuring of a conference.

NORMAN, Oklahoma – Oklahoma Sports’s Dean Blevins sat down for a one-on-one interview with OU Athletics Director Joe Castiglione, who discussed in detail the proposition of conference realignment.

Castiglione said he wants to keep the Big 12 intact as it is now and that he does not think there will be any major changes to the conference in the near future. He said the decision comes down almost exclusively to money, and new contract terms can be worked out between the current Big 12 teams.

The interview totaled more than 30 minutes, and has been split into four segments. Each of the separate segments is posted above in chronological order.
