Big 12 Announces Hardwood Series Schedule

NORMAN, Oklahoma – The Big 12 announced matchups for the fourth annual Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series Wednesday. Oklahoma will face Arizona on Sunday, Dec. 5, and Oklahoma State will face Stanford in the final game on Tuesday, Dec. 21.

All of the games in next season’s tournament will mirror the 2009 matchups, with the home teams switching.

The Sooners have won five of the six games they have played against Arizona, including a 79-62 victory last year in Norman. The Cowboys squeaked past Stanford 71-70 in their matchup last season.

In the three years the two conferences have taken part in this series, the Big 12 owns a 20-16 advantage thanks to winning nine of the 12 games last season. The only information revealed Wednesday were the dates and teams playing. Times and broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
