STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma State softball team won its 17th straight game with a 1-0 win over Wichita State, Tuesday.
Anna Whiddon was dominant yet again for the Cowgirls, pitching a complete game shutout, only giving up two hits and striking out eight.
The only run of the game came in the bottom of the fifth inning. Mariah Gerhart started the inning off with a triple and two at-bats later Alysia Hamilton singled to bring her home.
OSU resumes conference play in Lubbock Thursday at 5 p.m. with a double header against Texas Tech.
