SAN ANTONIO -- The Tulsa Drillers extended their win streak to three games with a 4-1 win over the San Antonio Missions.
The Missions (5-5) got on the board first with a sacrifice fly by Jesus Lopez to bring James Darnell across the plate and take a 1-0 lead in the first inning.
Tulsa (3-7) put its first run on the board in the top of the sixth inning with back-to-back hits to open the inning. Jason Van Kooten doubled to center and in the next at-bat Jeff Kindel singled to center field to bring him home and tie the game.
Kindel hit a solo home run to right field in the first at-bat of the eighth inning to give the Drillers a 2-1 lead. Three batters later, Kiel Rolling hit a homer to left with Scott Beerer on base to give Tulsa a 4-1 lead.
Andy Graham was awarded the win for the outing after going one inning and striking out one. Evan Scribner also only went one inning, but after giving up two hits and three runs received a loss for the game.
Tulsa tries to sweep the season series with the Missions Tuesday afternoon at 12:05 p.m. in San Antonio.
