OKLAHOMA CITY – The NBA announced its playoff schedule Thursday, and the Oklahoma City Thunder will begin the postseason at 2 p.m. Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers.
None of the playoff games will be played on back-to-back days. The first two games of the series will be played in Los Angeles, with the next two played in OKC. After that, games will switch between the two cities until one of them achieves four wins.
The series opener Sunday will be aired on ABC, with the next two on TNT and the fourth on ESPN. The television schedule for the final three games – which might not be necessary – has not yet been announced.
First-round schedule
Game 1: 2 p.m. Sunday, April 18 in Los Angeles
Game 2: 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 20 in Los Angeles
Game 3: 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 22 in Oklahoma City
Game 4: 8:30 p.m. Saturday, April 24 in Oklahoma City
Game 5: Tuesday, April 27 in Los Angeles (time to be determined)
Game 6: Friday, April 30 in Oklahoma City (time to be determined)
Game 7: Sunday, May 2 in Los Angeles (time to be determined)
