OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Thunder announced Wednesday that it has recalled Byron Mullens and Mustafa Shakur from the Tulsa 66ers.

Both players performed well in the 66ers victory over the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the first round of the Developmental League playoffs. Mullins averaged 14 points and 8.3 rebounds in the three-game series, and Shakur averaged 20.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists.

The Thunder will play its final game of the regular season at 7 p.m. Wednesday, and the addition of Mullens and Shakur could mean the team is planning on resting its starters for much of the night. OKC is already locked into the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference playoffs and will face the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round.
